Cost of Website Design and Hosting

There is a one time set-up fee to personalize your site (analogous to you setting up your client's prototype document). There is also an annual hosting, online newsletter and maintenance fee (analogous to your client's paying you an annual administration fee).

Site Design and Related Charges

The one-time set-up fee is $1,195, payable in advance. You would pay a minimum of $4,000 to have a web designer set up a similar site from scratch. And don't forget, this set-up fee includes the three most recent issues of the Benefit Insights® client newsletter. 

Here's a summary of what is included:

Domain name registration:  We will secure a domain name (www.yourcompany.com) for your firm. Your firm will be the owner of the domain name. If you already have a domain name, we will coordinate redirecting the address to the new host.
Personalized Banner:  All pages will include your personalized banner incorporating your company name, logo, company slogan, etc. designed with the colors that you select.
Personalized website pages:  We will personalize the following pages with your text and photographs:  Home Page, Company Profile, Our Services, Links, Contact Us (you will receive a set-up package that will provide specific instructions and a Word file of sample text).
Online newsletter:  A Newsletter website page with links to the three most recent issues of the Benefit Insights® newsletter. A new issue of the newsletter will be add to your website every other month. 
Standardized website pages:  Annual Plan Limits and Retirement Plan Overview web pages which we keep up-to-date.
Email set up:  We will set up email addresses using your firm's domain name in your email address, i.e., johnsmith@yourfirmname.com. Up to 25 email addresses are included at no additional charge.
Getting your site online: We handle all the technical details involved in getting your materials ready for the Internet and placing them online.

Annual Online Newsletter, Hosting and Site Maintenance Fees

The annual fee is $1,495, payable in advance. Don't forget that this fee includes having six issues of the Benefit Insights® online newsletter automatically uploaded to your site.

Here is a summary of what is included:

Website hosting.
Benefit Insights® online newsletter:  We will upload a new issue to your website every other month.
Annual Plan Limits and Retirement Plan Overview page maintenance:  We will update the Annual Plan Limits page annually and will make any changes necessitated by new rules or regulations to the Retirement Plan Overview page.
Domain name renewal.
Website maintenance:  One hour's worth of modifications to existing pages, such as minor text modifications, updating your address, phone/fax numbers or email addresses, is included in the annual maintenance fee.
